Kathmandu to Muktinath Tour by Flight 2025

Breakfast & City Exploration: Enjoy a hearty breakfast before we begin a half-day of sightseeing in Kathmandu.

Sleeping Vishnu: Visit the serene Budhanilkantha Temple to see the incredible, 5-meter-long reclining stone statue of Lord Vishnu.

Peaceful Stupa: Head to the magnificent Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal, where you can spin the prayer wheels with locals and monks.

Airport Transfer: At 2:00 PM, we'll transfer to the airport for your flight.

Himalayan Flight Thrills: Enjoy a spectacular 25-minute flight to Pokhara, offering panoramic views of the soaring Annapurna Range.

Pokhara Arrival: Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to your hotel.

Overnight in Pokhara: Check into your hotel and enjoy a peaceful overnight stay in the City of Lakes.

Luck of the Traveller: Today is the day we test our luck! As per the flight schedule (6 AM - 9 AM), we'll be transferred to Pokhara Airport for our flight to Jomsom.

Himalayan Flight Thrills: Board your flight for a spectacular 15-minute journey, offering magnificent, close-up views of the snow-capped mountains.

Jomsom Landing: Upon landing, we'll transfer to our hotel (just a 5-minute walk!) for a short rest to acclimatize to the high altitude.

Luck of the Traveller: Today is the day we test our luck! As per the flight schedule (6 AM - 9 AM), we'll be transferred to the airport for our flight to Jomsom.

Himalayan Flight Thrills: Board your flight for a spectacular 20-minute journey, offering magnificent, close-up views of the snow-capped mountains.

Jomsom Landing: Upon landing, we'll transfer to our hotel (just a 5-minute walk!) for a short rest to acclimatize to the high altitude.

Muktinath Drive: We'll drive along the legendary Kaligandaki River for about 1.5 hours to reach Muktinath.

Uphill to Salvation: Upon arrival, we'll walk about 2km up to the temple. (Pony rides are available for those who prefer not to walk.)

Sacred Rituals: At the temple, perform your holy rituals, taking a bath under the 108 water springs and the 2 Mukti Kundas.

Overnight in Jomsom: After a successful darshan, we'll return to Jomsom for a well-deserved rest.

  • Jomsom Flight: The flight itself is an adventurous experience, taking you deep into the mountains. It's a classic "Chalo Travellers" moment that depends on the unpredictable mountain weather.
  • Muktinath Temple: A deeply revered site for both Hindus and Buddhists. The 108 water spouts are believed to cleanse one of their sins and lead to salvation.

Morning Flight: After breakfast, we'll once again hope for good weather for our flight back to Pokhara.

Pokhara Sightseeing: Upon arrival, we'll dive into the natural and spiritual wonders of Pokhara!

Nature's Mysteries: Explore the unique Devi's Waterfall, which mysteriously disappears into a tunnel, and the sacred Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which houses a shrine to Lord Shiva.

Cultural Visit: Visit the famous Bindabasini Temple, one of Pokhara’s oldest temples, dedicated to the Goddess Bhagwati.

Lakeside Serenity: Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Fewa Lake to visit the Tal Barahi Temple, a beautiful island temple.

Free Time: The rest of the evening is free for you to explore the lakeside area at your own pace.

Overnight in Pokhara: Enjoy a restful night in the City of Lakes.

Breakfast & Free Time: Return to the hotel for breakfast and some free time to relax or explore on your own.

Airport Transfer: At 11:00 AM, we'll transfer to Pokhara Airport.

Final Flight: Take a final scenic flight back to Kathmandu.

Kathmandu Sightseeing: Upon arrival, we'll proceed for sightseeing, visiting the famous Swayambhunath Temple (the "Monkey Temple") and the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Overnight in Kathmandu: Enjoy your final evening in the vibrant capital.
