Jispa is a hidden gem nestled in the Lahaul district of Himachal Pradesh, known for its serene beauty and strategic location on the Manali-Leh highway. This picturesque village, situated on the banks of the Bhaga River, stands at an altitude of 3,200 meters (10,500 feet) and is about 23 kilometers from Keylong. Although Jispa is often seen merely as a stopover for travelers heading to Ladakh, it offers much more than a brief respite.
The village, with its modest population of around 400 people, boasts stunning landscapes that captivate every visitor. Surrounded by rugged mountains and lush valleys, Jispa provides some of the most breathtaking views along the Leh highway and in the Lahaul Valley. The tranquil environment, combined with the crisp mountain air, creates a perfect retreat for those seeking peace away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Jispa is equipped with essential facilities such as a helipad, a post office, and a monastery, which add to its charm and accessibility. The local monastery adds a cultural touch, offering a glimpse into the spiritual life of the region.

Gather and report at Kashmiri Gate/Vidhan Sabha Metro Station or Majnu Ka Tila by 7 PM and meet our trip captain. Depart for Manali with an overnight journey from Delhi.
Arrive by morning, check into the hotel, freshen up, and enjoy breakfast. Head to Vashisht village and trek to Jogini Falls. In the evening, visit Manali Mall Road. Overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast, check out of the hotel and start your road trip to Jispa via the Atal Tunnel. Stop at Baralacha La Pass, one of the highest passes on the Manali-Leh highway, at an altitude of approximately 16,090 feet. Continue to Jispa, check into the camps, and enjoy dinner. Overnight stay in Jispa.
Wake up at the campsite and have breakfast. Check out and head back to Manali. On the way, visit Sissu and hike to Palam Dhara Waterfall. Arrive in Manali by afternoon, with free time to explore the local market and Mall Road for shopping. Board the vehicle for the return journey.
