Three islands over seven days, at a pace that leaves the afternoons open. This Andaman honeymoon package starts in Port Blair with the Cellular Jail, crosses to Havelock for Radhanagar, and finishes on Neil, where the pace drops another gear entirely.

You get one of Asia most photographed beaches, a coral shelf you can snorkel straight off the sand, and a night on an island where the last ferry leaves at four and nothing much happens after it.

What makes this Andaman honeymoon package different

  • Three islands, not two — Neil is where most itineraries stop short, and it is the quietest of the three.
  • Ferry timings kept early — so afternoons stay free instead of being spent at a jetty.
  • Private vehicle in Port Blair — not a shared coach on someone else schedule.
  • Honest exclusions — scuba, sea walk and water sports are listed as payable on site, because prices change and we will not pretend otherwise.
  • Sunset built into the plan — Radhanagar and Laxmanpur are both scheduled for late afternoon, which is when they are worth seeing.

Who this trip suits

Couples and honeymooners. No trekking, no altitude, and every night in a proper bed. The only physical demands are boat transfers and a short beach walk or two.

A note on seasons

October to mid-May. December and January are the most comfortable and the busiest, so book eight to ten weeks ahead. February and March give the same weather with thinner crowds. Late May to September is monsoon, when ferries are cancelled at short notice and snorkelling visibility drops sharply.

Tour Plan

Day 01 ARRIVAL IN PORT BLAIR | CELLULAR JAIL LIGHT & SOUND SHOW

Touchdown in the Islands: Land at Veer Savarkar International Airport (IXZ). The drive into town takes under twenty minutes and our representative meets you at arrivals.

Corbyn Cove: An easy first afternoon at the closest beach to town, a coconut-lined curve on the eastern shore.

The Cellular Jail: Built between 1896 and 1906 with seven wings radiating from a central tower, designed so no prisoner could see another. Of the original seven wings, three survive. The evening Light and Sound Show is performed in the courtyard and tells the story through the voice of the old peepal tree that stands there.

  • Top Places to Cover: Cellular Jail, Light and Sound Show, Corbyn Cove Beach, Aberdeen Bazaar.
  • Importance of Each Place: Kala Pani was the punishment reserved for those the Raj wanted permanently removed from the mainland. Veer Savarkar was among those held here in solitary confinement.
  • Things to Know: Book the English-language show slot if you prefer; Hindi runs more frequently. Seating is open-air, so carry a light layer for the sea breeze.

Meals: None | Overnight: Port Blair

Day 02 ROSS ISLAND & NORTH BAY | RUINS, CORAL AND GLASS-BOTTOM BOATS

Ross Island: A short boat from Aberdeen Jetty to what is now Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Dweep. This was the British administrative capital until the 1941 earthquake, complete with ballroom, bakery, church and swimming pool. What remains is walls held up by banyan roots, with deer and peacocks moving through it.

North Bay: The boat continues to the coral shelf, where a glass-bottom ride shows the reef without anyone getting wet. Snorkelling, sea walk and scuba all operate from the beach and are paid on site.

Afternoon: Back in Port Blair with time for Aberdeen Bazaar and the Samudrika Naval Marine Museum.

  • Top Places to Cover: Ross Island ruins, North Bay coral, the lighthouse, Samudrika Museum.
  • Importance of Each Place: Ross was called the Paris of the East before the earthquake and the Japanese occupation of 1942 ended it. The North Bay lighthouse view is the one printed on the older twenty-rupee note.
  • Things to Know: Sea conditions decide whether North Bay activities run on any given morning. Wear something you do not mind getting wet on the boat landing - there is no jetty at Ross, you step onto rock.

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Port Blair

Day 03 CRUISE TO HAVELOCK | RADHANAGAR BEACH AT SUNSET

The Crossing: Early transfer to Haddo Wharf for the morning cruise to Havelock, now Swaraj Dweep. Roughly 90 minutes on the private ferry across open water.

Settle In: Check in and eat. Havelock is small enough that everything is fifteen minutes apart.

Radhanagar: Beach Number Seven, a long white arc backed by mahua forest, named Asia best beach by TIME in 2004 and still deserving it. Go late - the light after four is the reason people photograph this place, and the walk back to the car park in the dark is part of the experience.

  • Top Places to Cover: Radhanagar Beach, Govind Nagar beach, Havelock jetty area.
  • Importance of Each Place: Radhanagar is one of very few beaches in India with a genuine international reputation, and the forest behind it has been kept undeveloped, which is why it still looks the way it does.
  • Things to Know: Lifeguards operate to posted hours and there are flagged swimming zones - the currents beyond them are real. There are no shops on the beach itself, so carry water.

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Havelock

Day 04 ELEPHANT BEACH & KALAPATHAR | SNORKELLING AND BLACK ROCK SHORES

Elephant Beach: A speedboat runs from Havelock jetty in about twenty-five minutes. The reef here sits close enough to shore that you are over live coral within a minute of wading in, which is what makes it the island snorkelling spot.

Water Sports: Jet ski, banana boat, glass-bottom and sea walk all operate from the sand, paid on site.

Kalapathar: The afternoon on the eastern shore, named for the dark boulders scattered along the sand. Shallow, calm and far quieter than Radhanagar.

  • Top Places to Cover: Elephant Beach, Kalapathar Beach, Vijaynagar Beach (Beach No. 5).
  • Importance of Each Place: Elephant Beach can also be reached on foot by a 2 km trek through mangrove and forest, which closes in monsoon. Kalapathar faces east, so it gets the sunrise rather than the sunset.
  • Things to Know: Snorkelling gear is included in most operator rates but check before boarding. Coral cuts easily and is protected - do not stand on the reef.

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Havelock

Day 05 FERRY TO NEIL ISLAND | LAXMANPUR SUNSET & NATURAL BRIDGE

Across to Neil: Mid-morning ferry to Neil, now Shaheed Dweep. About 45 minutes, and the island is small enough to cover by scooter or car in an afternoon.

Laxmanpur: A wide, shallow west-facing beach and the best sunset on the island.

Natural Bridge: A coral rock arch on the southern shore, locally called Howrah Bridge. It is only reachable at low tide, so this one runs to the tide chart rather than the itinerary.

  • Top Places to Cover: Laxmanpur Beach, Natural Bridge, Neil Kendra jetty, Ram Nagar Beach.
  • Importance of Each Place: Neil was farmed rather than developed and still supplies vegetables to Port Blair, which is why it feels like a working island rather than a resort one.
  • Things to Know: The Natural Bridge walk crosses sharp coral rock - closed shoes are essential, not sandals. Check the tide timing with your hotel the evening before.

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Neil Island

Day 06 BHARATPUR & SITAPUR | RETURN CRUISE TO PORT BLAIR

Sunrise at Sitapur: The eastern tip of the island and the first place in Andaman to catch the sun. Worth the early alarm.

Bharatpur: The calmest water on Neil, with coral close in. Good for a last snorkel without a boat ride, and glass-bottom boats run from here too.

Back to Port Blair: Afternoon ferry. The evening is free - Chidiya Tapu is 25 km south if you want one more sunset, with mangrove coast and the best viewpoint on the main island.

  • Top Places to Cover: Sitapur Beach, Bharatpur Beach, Neil jetty, Chidiya Tapu (optional).
  • Importance of Each Place: Chidiya Tapu is known locally as Sunset Point and the birdlife in the mangroves around it is the richest on South Andaman.
  • Things to Know: Ferry seats sell out in peak season - your return is pre-booked but timings can shift. Keep the evening flexible.

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Port Blair

Day 07 DEPARTURE DAY | ISLAND MUSEUMS & IXZ TRANSFER

Last Morning: Breakfast, then transfer to Veer Savarkar International Airport.

If Your Flight Is Late: The Samudrika Naval Marine Museum and the Anthropological Museum are both near Aberdeen and compact enough for an hour. The Chatham Saw Mill, one of the oldest in Asia, is another option.

  • Top Places to Cover: Samudrika Museum, Anthropological Museum, Chatham Saw Mill, Aberdeen Bazaar.
  • Things to Know: Reach IXZ at least two hours before departure. Baggage screening here is thorough and the terminal is small.

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight: Journey ends
